The Museum's curator Beth Boyce will be giving a talk entitled Threads Through Time: A Coastal Textile History, at the Heriot Bay Inn on Wednesday, February 25 at 7:00pm.  The event is being put on in as part of the 'U of Q' serieis of presentations at the Heriot Bay Inn pub.

Beth will discuss the unique nature of west coast textile production, beginning with the ancient art of weaving with cedar, to the period when indigenous peoples came into contact with settlers and the sharing of techniques and materials, and up to the present time.  Admission is free and there is no need to register.
