Wayne Grady, the current writer-in-residence will be facilitating three master classes at the Museum.  Each consists of a lecture by Wayne, followed by in-session exercises and workshops, lasting approximately 3 hours will be offered. Each session will be of equal value to writers of fiction, nonfiction and poetry.  The cost of each session is $40.

Writing Place

Writing realistically about a place, whether a fictional place or a “real” place, requires many of the same skills required for writing character: observation and a keen eye for the telling details. Examples from writers who know how to nail a place, and exercises for making our own places memorable and “real.”
