As part of a fun holiday season, the Museum is offering two family fun-filled  puppet shows entitled “Pinnochio and Gepetto’s Rigolo Show “on Saturday, December 28, at 1pm and at 3 pm.  The hour long shows feature the professional work of Lawrence Smythe: mime, clown, actor, singer, dancer, puppeteer and ventriloquist.

From New York to Tokyo, Paris to Berlin, Mr. Smythe’s comedy creations have entertained audiences across the globe; in comedy clubs, theatres and cruise ships, circus and cabaret,  film and television.  As a solo performer Mr. Smythe has performed for Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Eloize, and Just for Laughs at such prestigious venues as Caesars Palace, Place des Arts, Theatre St. Denis, the National Arts Center and John F Kennedy for the Performance Arts.  In Smythe’s own words he was “born in the golden age of comedy, shot out of a circus canon landing in the 21st century like laughter in a cathedral”.

The show is suitable for all ages and is sure to bring laughter to the holidays.  The cost for the show is $9.00 for adults and $7.00 for kids.  There is also a special family rate of 4 for $25.00.  Call the Museum at Campbell River at 287-3103 to book a seat.
