The film "The Hay Days of North Campbell River" produced by the curatorial staff at the Museum at Campbell River is a short documentary that comprises a collection of memories of the people who grew up in North Campbell River when that community was in a state of great flux.  The area was shifting from a quiet agricultural community of close knit families, to a rapidly growing residential area surrounded by booming industry.  The memories of these individuals casts a light on how Campbell River responded to this rapid increase in population and prosperity over a very short period of time, and helps to document a way of life, once common, that is now lost.   It will be premiered on Saturday, April 18 at 2:30pm.

This project was funded by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program.
