Van Isle Theatre

The Museum at Campbell River boasts a comfortable little audiovisual theatre, designed in an art deco style reflecting Campbell River's first movie house. Refurbished theatre seats from the 1930's, decorative moldings, plum walls and rose-colored velvet drapes are within, where viewers may watch historic film footage (including the legendary explosion of the notorious marine hazard Ripple Rock) and, during the summer months, live puppet shows.
